Playhouse Toys - Tips For Safety

Along with any kids playhouse is going to come the playhouse toys. The two just go together. That said, there are some things you should keep in mind with any type of toys the kids are playing with in the play house.

There is no doubt that a playhouse toy is going to take a beating. They have to survive the outdoor elements along with the everyday use from all the kids. It can be tough to keep them in good shape, and that is where they need to be looked after.

If you have old damaged toys lying in the yard or inside the kids playhouse, toss them out. Damaged or broken toys can easily lead to accidents and should be thrown away. It also helps to keep the play area looking neat as well.

That leads to the next tip; try to keep the toys protected and kept in their place. The easiest way to do this is with a toy box. Something as simple as a storage bin or Rubbermaid storage box can keep them all in one place. Be sure it has an air tight lid to go over it in order to keep bugs and spiders out of it.

Every once in a while, clean all of the playhouse toys. Who wants the kids playing with dirty toys? Even if it is only a once every 2-3 months cleaning it will help keep them looking good and working properly. Again, this is an ideal time to inspect them and get rid of any broken ones.

These simple tips can help extend the life of all your playhouse toys and keep everyone happy in the house. A little extra care will go a long way.
